The valves of the Turbosmart Shortie Kompact Series were specially developed for the BorgWarner EFR and KKK turbos. They also fit the popular Ford Ecoboost engines. Unlike the standard plastic valves, which use non-reinforced diaphragms and are known to crack at increased gain, the new BW/KKK/Ecoboost compact valves with billet aluminum construction can withstand charging pressures in excess of 2 bar / 30PSI. Designed as a screw-on replacement of the factory valve for all BorgWarner EFR, KKK and most Ecoboost turbos.
The Dual Port valve returns part of the air to the system. The rest is released noisily into the atmosphere.
