Product Description
Chase Bays Universal Oil / Fluid Coolers are for enthusiasts who want a rigorously motorsport tested, efficient, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing cooling solution for their build. They were developed specifically for Oil, Transmission Fluid (ATF/MTF), Power Steering Fluid, and Differential Fluid.
The Chase Bays Oil Coolers are a Drawn-Cup Cooler design. Drawn-cup coolers are built by inserting a turbulator plate onto the stamped cup section. Oil passes from the larger oblong holes at each end of the cup section; the two small holes flanking the oblong hole are used for alignment during assembly. The advantage vs. Tube and Fin type in our experience is durability. The drawn cup respond better to the higher pressure seen in oil and power steering system than tube and fin.
They are offered in THREE sizes:

All 3 types are 145 psi Pressure Tested. They deform or burst at 500 psi.
The Chase Bays Coolers are coated in the signature Chase Bays Semi-Gloss Black coating that is cooler safe. The header covers are embossed with the Chase Bays logo. The AN threads are taped off for coating free threads. Due to the high pressure coating technique the overspray on the lower side of the male AN threads is normal and expected. Every single cooler company has this and it is not indicative of low quality.
This product was tested on the Chase Bays 1JZ-GTE VVTi E36. Thousands of drifts miles for 3 years! The 10 row was used as a Power Steering Cooler and the 25 row was used as the Oil Cooler:
