Tailoring to the needs of the end users that push pressure ratio and rotor speeds to the limits, the 475 to 700 HP capable EFR 8370 pairs the high pressure ratio compressor stage form the EFR 8374 with the turbine stage from the EFR 7670. The tip speed of the 70mm turbine wheel is slower than the 74mm turbine wheel rotating at the same shaft speed. The lower tip speed provides additional altitude and pressure ratio margin. This hybrid rotor group also introduces a useful option for customers looking to bridge the gap between our most popular B1 turbo (EFR 7163) and B2 turbo (EFR 8374).

The combination of a high-efficiency compressor wheel, Gamma-Titanaluminid turbine wheel, with ceramic ball bearing technology dramatically raises the bar for motorsports turbochargers and is state of the art in terms of turbocharger technology:
Compressor:
- black anodized forged and milled compressor wheel, extremely lightweight and resistant to highest boost levels, Extended tip technology
- integrated blow off valve
- integrated boost solenoid
- 360° rotation via V-band technology
- prepared socket for speed sensor (optionally available) to monitor compressor wheel speed. Thereby compressor efficiency can be calculated.
Core assembly:

- Gamma-Titanaluminid turbine wheel and shaft, 50% lighter than comparable Inconel turbine wheeland extremely heat resistant up to 1050°C (for comparison: Garrett only up to 950°C)
